Financial Operations Specialist

We're seeking a highly skilled financial professional to join our team as a Financial Operations Specialist.

  • This key role will involve collaborating closely with Senior Management to define and execute our financial strategy, ensuring the long-term success and stability of the organization.

As a Financial Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial operations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and overseeing the company's financial accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Supervising the operations of AR/AP, Payroll, tax and statutory compliance.
  • Providing stakeholders with financial visibility through dashboards and regular reports on yearly, quarterly, and monthly financial performance.
  • Forecasting cash flow, assessing borrowing needs, and determining available funds for both expenses and investments.
  • Assisting in the preparation of the company's annual, quarterly, and monthly budgets at both organizational and functional levels.
  • Reporting budget variances to management, providing detailed explanations for discrepancies.
  • Managing relationships with external stakeholders, including payroll partners, banks, legal advisors, and government statutory offices.

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • 6-10 years of relevant experience in finance roles, preferably within small to medium-sized companies or technology startups with a global reach.
  • In-depth knowledge of US & Indian GAAP, with practical experience in global finance practices, including those of the US & EU.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and address new or unfamiliar challenges encountered by you or your team.
