Human Resources Compliance Specialist

About the Role

This specialist is responsible for ensuring timely compliance with all applicable labour laws and sector-specific regulations. They oversee end-to-end execution, documentation, governance, vendor coordination, audits, and proactive process improvement across HR compliance activities at the entity and group levels.

  • Ensure timely compliance with all applicable labour laws: EPF, ESIC, PT, LWF, CLRA, S&E Acts, ID Act, Gratuity Act, etc.
  • Oversee state-wise compliance requirements and filings across locations.
  • Conduct onboarding checks for statutory forms and declarations (Form 2, ESIC, PF nomination, UAN verification).
  • Address and resolve employee PF-related queries in coordination with vendors and regional offices.
  • Ensure real-time tracking and closure of compliance deliverables using a compliance tracking system.
  • Interpret and implement HR compliance guidelines issued by IRDAI, RBI, SEBI.
  • Maintain awareness of new and changing regulatory mandates affecting HR operations and workforce governance.
  • Ensure documentation and records are maintained as per the requirements of sector regulators.

The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of central and state labour laws and statutory regulations, as well as experience managing compliance audits, inspections, and liaising with regulatory authorities. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are also essential for this role.
