Mergers and Acquisitions Leader

Leading an organization's end-to-end M&A lifecycle is a complex task that requires seasoned professionals with expertise in strategic planning, target identification, valuation, due diligence, deal structuring, negotiations, and post-merger integration.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Strategic Planning and Target Identification:
  • Develop growth strategies and prioritize acquisition or JV opportunities based on market research and competitor analysis.
Deal Execution:
  • Conduct valuations and prepare investment memos and board presentations to ensure successful transaction execution.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external advisors during due diligence.
Transaction Structuring and Negotiations:
  • Structure deals that align with legal and tax requirements.
  • Negotiate agreements to ensure timely transaction closure.
Post-Merger Integration (PMI):
  • Plan and execute integration with key stakeholders.
  • Monitor synergies, transitions, and post-deal performance.
Internal and External Stakeholder Management:
  • Collaborate across functions for deal alignment.
  • Manage relationships with advisors and strategic partners.
Key Requirements:
  • Education: CA / MBA (Finance) / CFA preferred
  • Experience: 10–15 years of experience in M&A, Corporate Development, or Investment Banking; minimum 5+ years in manufacturing or industrial sectors preferred; proven track record in handling end-to-end M&A lifecycle
