The Senior Director of Learning Development will lead the development and execution of a comprehensive training strategy to enhance operational excellence, safety compliance, and customer service standards across ground handling functions.

This is a high-impact leadership role requiring strong facilitation, coaching, and stakeholder management skills. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of ground handling operations and associated training compliance (DGCA/ISAGO).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a training strategy aligned with business priorities and regulatory standards
  • Forecast training demand basis business growth, attrition trends, and audit observations
  • Deliver training programs on SMS, AVSEC, ramp operations, DGR, and customer service as per defined timelines and standards
  • Oversee station-wide OJT program ensuring quality, monitoring, and documentation
  • Conduct periodic audits of training effectiveness and instructional quality

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in L&TD, with at least 5 years in ground handling or aviation operations
  • Proven experience of leading a training team in a high-volume operational setup (aviation/hospitality/logistics preferred)
  • Strong understanding of ground handling operations and associated training compliance (DGCA/ISAGO)
  • Excellent facilitation and coaching skills
  • Effective stakeholder management and collaboration across levels
  • Data-oriented mindset with hands-on LMS or digital learning tools
  • Strong communication, planning, and problem-solving skills
