Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced B2B Sales Expert for Educational Solutions to join our dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for owning the end-to-end sales process from prospecting, qualifying, converting, and renewing in assigned territories and achieving sales targets. This role requires extensive travel to various schools to promote CognoSpace solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • B2B prospecting and lead generation primarily through on-field prospecting, cold calling, networking, industry events, and channel partners.
  • FOLLOW UP ON LEADS, QUALIFY LEADS, AND ASSESS THEIR POTENTIAL FOR CONVERSION.
  • MANAGE AND MAINTAIN A PIPELINE OF LEADS AND PROSPECTS.
  • SET UP APPOINTMENTS WITH SCHOOL STAKEHOLDERS FOR PRODUCT DEMOS.
  • CONDUCT SALES PRESENTATIONS AND PRODUCT DEMONSTRATIONS CLEARLY EXPLAINING THE VALUE PROPOSITION TO STUDENTS AND SCHOOLS.
  • ACHIEVE SALES TARGETS AND EXPAND THE CUSTOMER BASE IN ASSIGNED TERRITORY.
  • BUILD AND NURTURE LONG-TERM RELATIONSHIPS WITH KEY DECISION-MAKERS AND STAKEHOLDERS AT SCHOOLS.
  • MONITOR MARKET TRENDS, COMPETITOR ACTIVITIES, AND CUSTOMER FEEDBACK TO IDENTIFY OPPORTUNITIES FOR GROWTH.
  • CONDUCT PRODUCT WORKSHOPS AND DEMONSTRATIONS AT EDUCATIONAL FACILITIES AND INDUSTRY EVENTS.
  • PREPARE REGULAR SALES REPORTS AND FORECASTS FOR MANAGEMENT REVIEW.
Requirements:
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in engineering, business, marketing, or a related field.
  • PROVEN EXPERIENCE IN B2B SALES, BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT, MARKETING, WITH AT LEAST 3 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE, WITH A TRACK RECORD OF MEETING OR EXCEEDING SALES TARGETS.
  • EXPERIENCE IN THE EDUCATION SECTOR IS PREFERRED.
  • A SOLID GRASP OF EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGIES AND SOLUTIONS.
  • EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION, PRESENTATION, AND NEGOTIATION SKILLS.
  • KNOWLEDGE OF CRM SOFTWARE AND MICROSOFT OFFICE SUITE IS A PLUS.
  • ABILITY TO TRAVEL EXTENSIVELY TO MEET CLIENTS AND PARTICIPATE IN INDUSTRY EVENTS.
Salary Estimate:

Rupees 8-12 lakhs per annum (dependent on experience)
