Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Laboratory Manager to oversee daily laboratory operations and ensure accurate analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough testing of soil, water, and product biodegradation studies in marine, soil, compost, and anaerobic environments.
  • Manage laboratory operations ensuring timely completion of tasks and accuracy of results at all times.
  • Solve complex technical issues arising from routine analysis and collaborate with the Head of Lab on critical matters.
  • Coordinate lab assignments to Analysts/Lab Technicians and oversee data compilation and verification.
  • Analyze quality control sample results for accuracy and process efficiency.
  • Ensure training and development of laboratory analysts to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Maintain inventory of lab equipment and supplies, performing calibrations and verifications as scheduled.
  • Support Laboratory Manager in their absence by taking on additional responsibilities.
  • Investigate and implement corrective actions for NCRs and ensure timely closure.
  • Establish strong relationships with clients within the testing, inspection, and certification industry.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Micro/Biochem/Biotech and 5-7 years of experience in the service industry. A proven track record of managing laboratory operations and leading teams is essential.
