Job Description

The role of a Field Service Engineer involves providing technical support to customers and regional escalation support on SMT Solution equipment.

Key responsibilities include machine installation, commissioning, on-site training, and production monitoring. Additionally, the engineer must respond to customer and regional service calls, attend to problems at the customer site when required, and provide on-site training to customers.

Other key activities include participating in continuous improvement and developing new ideas and technology on product training delivery that add value to our customers.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer/Mechatronics Engineering or a related field is required.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience; 7 years for the Senior Field Service Engineer role are required.
  • Experience in Printer, Pick & Place, and Solder Paste Inspection machines is essential.
  • Experience with ASMPT equipment is preferred.
  • Knowledge of SMT Process and Applications, Line Software's integration, MES, and Industrial Automation is desirable.
