Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a Government Grants and Awards Specialist to enhance brand visibility through impactful award submissions. This cross-functional role involves leveraging government policies, schemes, and certifications that align with our strategic objectives.

This position is ideal for someone who excels in writing, building relationships, and turning regulatory insights into growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Awards and Sponsorships:
    • Research and craft compelling award entries backed by strong factual data to maximize winning potential.
    • Identify, evaluate, and secure relevant sponsorship opportunities that align with our business goals.
    • Develop persuasive sponsorship proposals and pitch decks for potential partners.
    • Negotiate and manage end-to-end sponsorship agreements while ensuring legal and regulatory compliance.
    • Maintain relationships with award committees, event organizers, and industry associations.
    • Track submission deadlines and deliverables for awards and sponsorships.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to gather case studies, metrics, and insights that support award nominations and pitches.

Government Policy and Schemes:

  • Research and track government policies, grants, certifications, and incentive schemes relevant to our sector.
  • Identify opportunities for collaboration or support from government bodies and public institutions.
  • Draft and submit applications for government certifications, schemes, regulatory approvals, or policy-driven initiatives.
  • Liaise with regulatory and policy stakeholders to ensure alignment and compliance with government requirements.
  • Prepare briefing notes, internal reports, and documentation to inform decision-makers and teams.

Requirements:

  • 0–3 years of relevant experience
  • A degree in Law, Communications, Public Policy, Marketing, or a related field
  • Strong research, writing, and documentation skills with attention to detail
  • Proven ability to craft award entries, sponsorship pitches, or government grant applications
  • Understanding of legal, policy, or regulatory frameworks—especially relating to government programs, sponsorships, and compliance
  • A proactive, relationship-oriented mindset with strong negotiation and presentation skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple high-stakes deadlines with minimal oversight
  • A passion for building brand visibility and unlocking strategic growth opportunities
