Job Description\

Role Summary: We are seeking an experienced Data Governance Professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining data governance best practices across the organization, ensuring high-quality and consistent data management.

  • Analyze current data usage patterns, identify areas of improvement, and develop strategies to optimize data management processes.\
  • Implement data quality control measures, monitor data integrity, and enforce data standards.\
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to establish data governance policies and procedures, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and maintain accurate records.\
  • Develop and maintain data management plans, implement data security controls, and provide regular status updates to senior management.\
  • Work closely with data engineers to integrate telemetry data into Microsoft Fabric, lakehouses, pipelines, and other relevant systems.\
  • Provide technical guidance and support to teams on data governance best practices, data quality assurance, and data security.\
  • Document and communicate changes to data governance policies, procedures, and tools to relevant stakeholders.
\Required Skills & Qualifications\

Key Requirements:

  • Degree in computer science, economics, or comparable training or professional experience.\
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with data governance, data quality control, and data management.\
  • Strong expertise in data governance frameworks, data modeling, and data warehousing.\
  • Experience working with Microsoft Fabric, particularly lakehouses, warehouses, pipelines, and semantic models.\
  • Advanced SQL and DAX skills, proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python).\
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.\
  • Ability to work independently, deliver results under tight timelines, and adapt to changing priorities.
