Job Purpose:
The key responsibility of the Sales Manager - Gold Loan Professional is to drive gold loan business growth through various channels. This includes overseeing and training a team of DSTs to expand gold loan business in their assigned locality/branch.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Ensure monthly sales targets are met with acquisition in NTB (New to Bank) and ETB (Existing to Bank) customers.
- Pitch existing liability customers for gold loans.
- Ensure month-on-month growth in EOP (Execution only platform) Assets for Gold loan business/per branch.
- Maintain a minimum fee income of 1% of total disbursals.
- Regularly follow up with customers for timely renewal of cases to ensure a minimum number of renewal pending cases.
- Coordinate with valuers on a regular basis.
- Ensure most customers are aligned to pay valuation charges as per product norms.
- Ensure healthy collections with zero FEMI/FPD and minimize fresh flow in Bucket X.
- Be aware of PSL (Priority sector lending) norms and tag relevant customers.
- Support the branch liability team in audits and ensure proper communication with customers before any packet opening.
- Develop and execute marketing strategies in the local market to attract NTB gold loan customers.
- Be willing to work extensively in the field and travel across the region as required.
- Perform ad-hoc activities as required by the department.
Requirements:
Education: Any graduate degree.
Experience: 2 to 5 years of experience in gold loan sales.
