IT Business Development Manager
Job DescriptionThis is an exciting opportunity to take your business development career to the next level. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and building strategic partnerships in the Data & AI domain.
You will collaborate closely with technical teams and leadership to align client needs with our solutions and services. You will identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities, develop and execute go-to-market strategies, and build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers across industries.
This role requires a self-driven, entrepreneurial individual with a strong network of decision-makers across industries to join our fast-growing Data & AI software consultancy and contribute to our mission of helping businesses harness the power of data and AI to unlock growth, efficiency, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities in Data, AI, and Software consultancy
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to expand the client base across industries (Finance, Healthcare, Retail, Manufacturing, etc.)
- Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers, including CTOs, CIOs, CDOs, and business leaders
- Lead end-to-end sales cycles including prospecting, proposal creation, presentations, contract negotiations, and closure
- Collaborate with technical and delivery teams to shape solutions that address client challenges and opportunities
- Track market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to inform business strategy
- Meet and exceed revenue, pipeline, and growth targets
Required Skills and Qualifications
We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in business development and sales within the IT services industry. You will have a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to translate technical offerings into clear business value for clients.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in business development/sales within IT services, consulting, or technology solutions, preferably in the Data, AI, Cloud, or Software Development space. You will also have a strong understanding of Data & AI technologies, including data engineering, machine learning, MLOps, cloud platforms, and analytics.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience selling consulting services (not just software licenses)
- Knowledge of enterprise data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP, Databricks, Snowflake, etc.)
- Exposure to emerging areas like Generative AI, Intelligent Automation, or Advanced Analytics
