Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Strategic Account Manager to join our team in Chennai, India. As a Strategic Account Manager, you will be responsible for promoting Takeda's innovative medicines for Hematology and Genetic Diseases portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive commercial goals in assigned territory and deliver business results through effective sales strategies.
- Develop and execute account plans to drive volume and revenue growth for Hematology and GD brands.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand existing accounts through strategic partnerships.
- Prioritize and manage multiple priorities, including forecasting, market research, and data analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Market Access, Medical, and Commercial Operations, to achieve business objectives.
- Maintain relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals (HCPs) to stay up-to-date on market trends and best practices.
- Implement sales strategies to drive business agility, increase focus on demand generation, sales and marketing promotion, and HCP engagement.
- Analyze and interpret data to inform business decisions and optimize sales performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, preferably in the Hematology and Genetic Diseases space.
- Strong understanding of the Indian healthcare landscape, regulatory environment, and market trends.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a high-performing team.
Salary Range: ₹15,00,000 - ₹25,00,000 per annum
