Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned IT professional to fill the role of Office 365 Administrator. This position requires expertise in managing and supporting Microsoft 365 environments, with a strong focus on administration, troubleshooting, and governance.

  • Manage, monitor, and support the Office 365 environment including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, and Azure Active Directory.
  • Implement and manage security policies and compliance controls across Office 365 services.
  • Perform user and license management, mailbox migration, group management, and troubleshooting of service-related issues.
  • Design, implement, and enforce governance policies around data retention, information protection, and identity management.
  • Monitor service health, analyze performance metrics, and provide recommendations for system improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to integrate Office 365 services with on-premises infrastructure.
  • Handle troubleshooting of connectivity, mail flow issues, and configuration challenges across Office 365 services.
  • Ensure regular backups, disaster recovery readiness, and manage data loss prevention (DLP) configurations.
  • Stay updated on Microsoft 365 roadmap, new features, and industry best practices.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong experience in Office 365 Administration - Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Microsoft Teams, and Azure Active Directory (AAD).
  • Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune) for device management.
  • Proficient in PowerShell scripting for automation and management of O365 tasks.
  • Good knowledge of Security & Compliance Center, DLP Policies, Conditional Access Policies, and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
  • Experience in Hybrid Exchange setups (on-premises + Exchange Online).
  • Strong understanding of Identity Management, SSO, ADFS, and OAuth integrations.
  • Experience in monitoring and managing Service Health, Message Trace, and Audit Logs.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance solutions.
  • Troubleshooting mail flow, connectivity, permissions, and license issues.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 Group management, Shared Mailboxes, Distribution Lists.
  • Experience in data migration tools like SharePoint Migration Tool (SPMT), Azure Migrate, etc.
