Job Title: Human Resources Leader

The company is seeking an experienced and proactive HR leader to drive, oversee, and innovate across multiple HR functions. The ideal candidate will be hands-on with HR systems, strong in employee relations, and capable of driving strategic HR initiatives aligned with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a seamless onboarding process from documentation to orientation by monitoring and maintaining accurate records.
  • Conduct and monitor onboarding assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of training and induction programs.
  • Oversee asset allocation and management for new joiners to ensure timely and efficient setup.
  • Provide employee support by handling queries, resolving issues, and driving innovative approaches to enhance employee experience through effective communication and problem-solving skills.

Policies & Processes:

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of HR policies in alignment with organizational culture and compliance requirements to foster a positive work environment.
  • Build and standardize HR processes to ensure efficiency, consistency, and scalability in HR operations.
  • Develop and maintain organizational hierarchy structures, ensuring clarity in reporting lines and role responsibilities for effective teamwork.

HR Systems & Reporting:

  • Drive the adoption and utilization of Keka HRMS to its full potential across payroll, leave, performance, and reporting modules to improve HR efficiency.
  • Prepare and lead HR reports for management, covering workforce data, attrition, and engagement metrics to inform data-driven HR decision-making.
  • Conduct report analysis, identify gaps, and implement improvements to optimize HR systems and processes.

Payroll & Compliance:

  • Oversee end-to-end payroll management, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in payroll processing.
  • Ensure statutory compliance with tax laws, PF, ESIC, and other labor laws to maintain regulatory adherence.
  • Monitor adherence to compliance frameworks and regulatory updates to stay informed.
  • Uphold the Code of Conduct (COC) across all employee levels, ensuring fair and ethical workplace practices.

Performance & Employee Relations:

  • Support and participate in increment meetings, providing inputs based on performance, market trends, and organizational policies to inform salary decisions.
  • Drive HR Connect initiatives to strengthen employee engagement, culture, and communication through regular feedback and coaching sessions.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to management and employees on HR-related matters, providing guidance and support.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelors/Masters degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2+ years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR operations, payroll, and statutory compliance.
  • Hands-on experience with HRMS (preferably Keka).
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and people management skills.
  • Ability to lead policy/process building initiatives and foster innovation in HR practices.
