Job Title: Operations Leader

Our company is seeking an experienced Operations Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management and leadership.

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled leader to oversee the daily operations of our 6HI Cold Rolling Mills. This includes supervising production planning, managing inventory control, and ensuring proper housekeeping.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage the operations of three 6HI Cold Rolling Mills.
  • Prepare production planning sheets focused on optimizing production cost and maximizing output.
  • Achieve daily production targets by ensuring optimal machine utilization and effective manpower management.
  • Oversee inventory control of rolls, coolant, consumables, and finished goods stock clearance.
  • Maintain proper housekeeping and ensure correct handling and storage of materials.
  • Implement preventive maintenance schedules and recommend corrective actions to reduce downtime, scrap, and rework.
  • Conduct rejection analysis and suggest corrective and preventive actions for continuous productivity improvement.
  • Control quality by inspecting surface conditions and managing defects in rolling materials.
  • Coordinate effectively with raw material, production, quality, procurement, and utilities teams for smooth operations.

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficient in using SAP software and AUTOCAD for machine component design.
  • Detail-oriented and organized with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and internet usage.
  • Leadership and training experience.
