Role Overview

We are looking for an energetic and process-driven Assistant Manager – Operations to oversee and streamline the day-to-day operational activities of our NBFC-P2P fintech business. The role will focus on ensuring smooth loan processing, customer onboarding, compliance, documentation, and coordination across internal teams while maintaining operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and monitor daily operational activities including loan processing, disbursement, repayments, and reconciliations.
- Ensure accurate verification of borrower and lender documentation as per company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee customer onboarding and KYC processes in line with RBI P2P lending guidelines.
- Coordinate with credit, risk, technology, and finance teams for smooth operations.
- Track and resolve operational issues, escalations, and service gaps in a timely manner.
- Maintain MIS reports, dashboards, and operational records for management review.
- Drive process improvement and automation to enhance efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, audit requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Support the operations head in policy formulation, SOP implementation, and team management.

Qualifications & Skills

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in operations within NBFC, Bank, Fintech, or P2P lending environment.
- Strong understanding of NBFC operations, KYC norms, and RBI compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and MIS reporting.
- Strong communication, leadership, and people management skills.

Preferred Background

- Experience in fintech/financial services operations.
- Exposure to process automation and digital lending platforms.
