About the Role
Odisha Yatri a government-backed ride-hailing platform is looking for a dynamic Business Operations Manager to lead and scale operations across Odisha. This is a high-ownership role with full accountability of Supply growth (Driver engagement), Demand generation and marketing activations, Customer experience, and Govt. Liaisoning.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end city operations driver onboarding, training, availability & service quality.
Lead a strong on-ground team to drive ride numbers and ensure daily operational execution.
Engage with driver unions and community groups to build long-term support for Odisha Yatri.
Actively solve driver issues and help make Odisha Yatri their preferred platform.
Launch and manage driver engagement campaigns (bonuses, incentives, branding etc.)
Ensure smooth coordination with government authorities at city and state level.
Run on-ground branding activities to increase app visibility and public trust.
Collaborate with growth, tech, and central ops teams for seamless execution.
Launch new cities across Odisha from stakeholder alignment to supply ramp-up.
Own and deliver Growth metrics including ride growth & retention
Who You Are
Hustler with bias for action and ability to operate in high-growth, ambiguous setups.
A natural leader with experience managing teams and influencing stakeholders.
Good in data analysis, process design, and cross-functional collaboration.
Comfortable with on-ground operations, solving real-world problems. This role requires being on road more than 15 days a month
Fluent in Odia (must-have) and English/Hindi.
Good to Have
Prior experience in mobility, logistics, e-commerce, or govtech
Worked in driver-side operations, community building or government liaison - Added advantage

Proven ability to build from 0 to 1, and scale from 1 to 10
Strong people management skills
Bias for action and a 'hustler' mindset
Excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities
Fluent in Odia, with strong communication and negotiation skills
Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
Bonus: Experience in mobility, logistics, or tech-enabled services

Supply Growth: # of active drivers, % availability, acceptance rate
Customer Experience: Average ratings, ticket resolution time, NPS
Retention: % repeat users (both drivers and riders)
Cost Efficiency: City-level cost control and operational optimization
