Business Development Manager

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead our direct sales team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in sales management, strong understanding of the sales process, and proven ability to drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities- Sales Strategy Development: Design and execute comprehensive direct sales strategies aligned with company revenue targets, identify and pursue new market opportunities to expand market share and business growth.
- Team Leadership and Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate the direct sales team to meet and surpass sales goals, provide coaching, training, and development to enhance team skills and performance levels.
- Sales Performance Monitoring: Track and evaluate sales metrics to assess performance and identify improvement areas, present regular sales performance reports and forecasts to senior management.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders, ensure customer satisfaction through effective account management and issue resolution.
- Sales Process Optimization: Streamline the sales process to boost efficiency and effectiveness, implement industry best practices and sales tools to enhance team productivity.
- Market Analysis and Competitor Intelligence: Conduct thorough market research to stay informed on industry trends, customer needs, and competitive activities, leverage market insights to refine sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to ensure alignment between sales strategies and broader business objectives, provide feedback and insights to inform product development and marketing efforts.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; Engineering background preferred.
- Proven experience in a senior sales management role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Demonstrated track record of consistently achieving and surpassing sales targets.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with ability to inspire and motivate.
- Strategic thinker with history of developing and executing successful sales strategies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Data-driven with ability to analyze sales data and make informed decisions.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
Estimated Salary: ₹15,00,000 - ₹25,00,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
