Job Role: Service Host

Location: Hubli, India

The primary responsibility of the Service Host is to provide exceptional service to members and guests at The Quorum. This involves delivering high-quality food and beverage service while ensuring that all dining interactions reflect the club's standards of hospitality and excellence.

  • Welcome members and guests, present menus, and assist with food and beverage selections.
  • Take accurate orders and coordinate with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely service.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace before, during, and after service.
  • Maintain a strong presence on the floor to anticipate guest needs and resolve issues promptly.
  • Provide menu recommendations and answer questions about ingredients or preparation methods.
  • Follow service delivery procedures, billing protocols, and table turnover guidelines.
  • Support the setup and service of private dining experiences and member events.
  • Monitor inventory levels of service equipment and coordinate with the stewarding team as needed.

Essential Requirements:

  • 0 - 2 years of experience in food and beverage service or hospitality operations.
  • Effective communication skills and a customer-centric mindset.
  • Familiarity with basic F&B service etiquette and order-taking protocols.
  • Presentation and grooming are essential for this role.
  • Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with POS systems is an added advantage.
  • Flexible to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays as per operational needs.
