Job Overview

The production head oversees bakery production operations, ensuring efficiency and quality. This role involves managing production schedules, coordinating with procurement and sales teams, leading a team of bakers and production staff, and implementing continuous improvement processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring smooth operation of the central kitchen, employees, facilities, and costs to achieve optimal dispatch.
  • Implementing the right production processes and procedures.
  • Controlling ongoing operational costs.
  • Maintaining inventory levels for raw materials and finished products.
  • Delivering high-quality products in forecasted quantities.
  • Ensuring cleanliness, sanitation, and hygiene standards at all times.
  • Establishing effective employee relations.
  • Hiring employees, providing orientation, and coaching.
  • Conducting on-the-job training sessions.
  • Performing special projects assigned by management.
  • Conducting daily team briefings.
  • Performing any other duties or responsibilities assigned.
Candidate Profile

Hotel management graduates with minimum 18 years of experience and 5 years of leadership experience are preferred.

Requirements:
  • Ability to multitask in a stressful work environment.
  • Pleasing personality, excellent communication skills, and strong team management abilities.
  • Strong planning, organizing, analytical, budgeting, and cost control skills.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in pastry and bakery techniques.
  • Ability to mass-produce standardized products.
