Job Title

A high-performing Production Manager is sought after to oversee daily, weekly, and monthly production planning, scheduling, and on-time execution across multiple shifts in our industrial bakery operations.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a hands-on approach to improving systems and SOPs. They will also have the ability to drive efficiency, yield, and OEE, while reducing waste and downtime through Lean methods.

Responsibilities include enforcing SOPs, recipes, and specifications, resolving floor issues quickly, and overseeing manpower allocation, rosters, and overtime. The successful candidate will also lead factory trials and scale-up for new products from pilot to full production.

Key qualifications include a background in Bakery/Pastry Chef, Food Technology or Engineering, with 10+ years of experience in production/plant leadership within bread/bakery/confectionery. A proven track record of multi-shift management and supervisor leadership experience is essential, as well as a deep knowledge of bakery processes, equipment, and ingredients.

The ideal candidate will be a strong leader who coaches, sets standards, and holds teams accountable. They will be a process-driven and data-led individual who improves systems and SOPs continuously. Strong communication skills are necessary, particularly in managing relationships with management, supervisors, and operators.

  • Bakery/Pastry Chef, Food Technology or Engineering Background

  • Proven multi-shift management and supervisor leadership experience
  • Deep knowledge of bakery processes, equipment, and ingredients
  • Strong command of production planning, inventory control, and Lean/CI tools
