Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a skilled Bakery Team Lead to oversee the daily operations of our bakery.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years' experience as a baker in an upscale hotel, resort, or cruise ship setting. They will be responsible for managing budgets, ensuring cost containment, and maintaining high-quality standards.

About the Role

This is a leadership position that requires strong communication and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will be able to motivate and lead a team of bakers to achieve their best performance. Key Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining thorough knowledge of US Public Health regulations and enforcing compliance.
  • Collaborating with the Head Baker to forecast production, minimizing waste and controlling costs.
  • Preparing the bakery for USPH inspections, exercising proper procedures.
  • Managing requisitions and transportation of necessary items from main stores.
  • Maintaining recipes and yields in accordance with company standards.
  • Providing excellent service and support to guests and crew members.
  • Attending meetings, training sessions, and other work-related activities as needed.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of three years' experience as a baker in an upscale hotel, resort, or cruise ship setting.
  • Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, equipment use, and requirements.
  • Completion of high school or basic education equivalency required.
