Job Title: System Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated professional to fill the role of System Support Specialist. As a critical member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to users across multiple departments and locations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software applications, with experience in resolving technical issues and delivering high-quality support to end-users.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Act as a front-line responder within the System Support team, resolving incidents and service requests raised by users.
  • Take full ownership of assigned incidents, problems, and service requests, ensuring timely acknowledgment, regular updates, and resolution within set targets.
  • Escalate issues when required and collaborate with the Head of System Support to ensure prompt and effective resolution.
  • Maintain and manage Problem tickets in line with the Problem Management process, ensuring accurate documentation and resolution tracking.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience working with bespoke software applications, with the ability to become a subject matter expert quickly.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering training to stakeholders and end-users in a clear and engaging manner.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to investigate and determine root causes of recurring system issues.
  • Familiarity with ITSM tools such as ServiceDesk Plus, ServiceNow (SNOW), or Zendesk.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant degree in Information Systems, computing studies, IT or other related fields.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a System Support Analyst or a similar role.
