IT Infrastructure Support Specialist

The role of IT Infrastructure Support Specialist involves providing comprehensive support across the entire IT infrastructure, encompassing end-user support, networking, servers, and IT systems.
This position is broader than desktop support, ensuring business continuity through proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and IT service management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and enterprise applications.
- Maintain and monitor IT infrastructure (servers, storage, networks).
- Address user requests and incidents via the helpdesk/ticketing system.
- Administer user accounts, email systems, and security groups in Active Directory/Office 365.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity and system access issues.
- Support IT projects (cloud migration, system upgrades, security enhancements).
- Collaborate with vendors and external providers for IT services and escalations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in IT support/infrastructure, preferably 1–3 years.
- Knowledge of Windows/Linux servers, virtualization, and cloud platforms.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts (LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP).
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and customer service skills.
