Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to optimize our cloud infrastructure and reduce costs. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in AWS, GCP, and Azure cloud services, as well as proficiency in scripting/programming, monitoring, and cost optimization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze cloud infrastructure costs across AWS, Azure, and GCP
  • Track daily/weekly usage patterns and identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and maintain scripts/automation for cost reporting, resource clean-up, and efficiency improvements
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to right-size compute, storage, and database resources
  • Implement reserved instances, savings plans, auto-scaling policies, and storage lifecycle policies to minimize spend
  • Leverage native tools like AWS Cost Explorer, CloudWatch, GCP Billing, and third-party monitoring platforms

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS and/or GCP services (EC2, S3, IAM, GKE, BigQuery, etc.)
  • Experience in cloud cost monitoring & optimization
  • Proficiency in at least one scripting/programming language (Python, Bash, Shell, etc.)
  • Understanding of SRE concepts: reliability, scalability, monitoring, and automation
  • Prior experience in cost analysis and optimization for enterprise workloads
