Job Description:

The Operations Team Lead will be responsible for managing manpower planning, shift rostering, and ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures. They will oversee HR/Employee-related Key Performance Indicators, mentor team members, and implement process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage manpower planning and shift rostering based on load projections and productivity targets.
  • Maintain a clean and organized facility, and uphold overall upkeep standards.
  • Monitor vehicle connections, availability, and ensure timely unloading/loading of vehicles to meet performance metrics.
  • Plan ad-hoc vehicle requirements based on load profiles and coordinate with the fleet team.
  • Maintain service levels and ensure optimal performance in respective functions.
  • Foster communication and coordination with various teams (Commercial, Security, Fleet, Last Mile).
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in operations management, preferably in a logistics or supply chain environment.
  • Strong leadership skills, ability to mentor and develop team members.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
