Sales and Marketing Director - Growth

Job Title: Sales and Marketing Director - Growth

Responsibilities:

  1. Strategize the Sales and Marketing business
  2. Create dealer-wise and state-wise annual sales plans aligned with the company's business plan
  3. Develop long-term business strategies to achieve desired volume and market share
  4. Identify and mitigate risks to achieve business objectives
  5. Partner with the Channel Development team to plan, review, and track channel partner capabilities
  6. Anticipate emerging trends and developments in the industry to drive business growth
  7. Analyze market trends to position products in specific segments and enhance market share and operational efficiency
  8. Manage sales teams through mentoring, coaching, and capability building to achieve top-line growth
  9. Provide direction to sales teams and address bottlenecks to achieve annual targets
  10. Monitor and improve employee engagement scores through engagement survey-based plans
  11. Build a culture of accountability, ownership, and teamwork to drive results without compromising process
  12. Facilitate teams to analyze customer touchpoints to create a positive gap between customer expectations and experiences
  13. Liaise with Service, Channel Development, Channel Retail Finance, and Marketing teams to ensure sales enablers
  14. Build strong relationships with key customers and large fleet owners through personal contacts to drive volume growth
  15. Liaise with Marketing Heads to leverage marketing initiatives to acquire new segments and customers
  16. Liaise with local-level financiers and their teams to help retail financing
  17. Plan and identify network expansion needs and work with the Channel team to fulfill them
  18. Ensure dealership profitability by addressing hygiene issues and dealership claim settlement issues
  19. Build and institutionalize a robust review mechanism to monitor sales performance against targets and take corrective action

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA; Bachelors of Technology; Bachelor of Engineering; MBA in Sales and Marketing
  • Minimum 10-15 years of experience in a relevant industry
