Portfolio Growth Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and results-driven Portfolio Growth Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for driving portfolio growth, ensuring timely disbursements, and maintaining high-quality loan portfolios.

As a Portfolio Growth Specialist, you will be working closely with our teams to achieve business objectives, develop strategies for expansion into new markets, and optimize our lending processes to increase efficiency and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to drive portfolio growth and ensure timely disbursement targets.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and areas for expansion.
  • Work collaboratively with our sales and credit teams to develop and execute business plans that drive growth and profitability.
  • Monitor and analyze loan performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with our risk management team to develop and implement strategies to minimize delinquency and default rates.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to junior staff members to help them develop their skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Fresher to a maximum of 5 years of experience in a similar role or in sales and marketing.
  • Basic understanding of the microfinance business and the Joint Liability Group (JLG) model is preferred.
