Cross-Cultural Communications Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Cross-Cultural Communications Specialist to coach professionals in effective communication with U.S.-based clients. The role involves specialized training in American English pronunciation, syllable stress, intonation, and accent neutralization, as well as teaching U.S. geography, time zones, business etiquette, and cultural awareness.

The ideal candidate will have a strong expertise in American English accent, stress patterns, and cultural communication. A solid knowledge of U.S. geography, time zones, and workplace culture is also required.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing interactive modules, exercises, and role-plays tailored to corporate requirements. They will evaluate participants' communication skills, provide structured feedback, and track progress.

Additionally, the Cross-Cultural Communications Specialist will partner with HR and business leaders to align training with organizational goals. They will also build confidence and interpersonal effectiveness through one-on-one and group coaching.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Train employees on American English accent, pronunciation, intonation, and syllable stress.
  • Provide practical coaching on neutralizing mother tongue influence (MTI) and improving voice clarity and modulation.
  • Teach U.S. geography (states, regions, time zones) and cultural nuances relevant to business interactions.
  • Conduct sessions on business etiquette, professional communication, and client engagement strategies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Linguistics, or related field.
  • Prior experience as a Voice & Accent Trainer / Corporate Communications Trainer preferred.
  • Strong facilitation, presentation, and motivational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in American English.
  • Solid knowledge of U.S. geography, time zones, and workplace culture.
