Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Debt Syndication Specialist to lead our debt syndication projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying potential clients and developing strategic relationships to generate new business opportunities.

This role involves conducting market research and analysis to understand industry trends, competitive landscape, and client needs.

You will lead the end-to-end deal cycle of debt syndication projects, including structuring, negotiation, documentation, and execution.

Your expertise will include preparing comprehensive financial models, feasibility studies, and presentations for client pitches and lender meetings.

You will collaborate with internal teams, including legal, finance, and operations, to ensure smooth project execution and client satisfaction.

A key aspect of this role is managing relationships with financial institutions, lenders, and other stakeholders to optimize financing terms and conditions for clients.

You will provide expert advice and guidance to clients on debt financing options, including loan syndication, project financing, and debt restructuring.

Additionally, you will stay updated on regulatory requirements and market dynamics affecting debt syndication activities.

You will monitor and track industry developments, market trends, and competitor activities to identify business opportunities and potential risks.

Finally, you will prepare regular reports and updates for senior management on business development activities, pipeline management, and project performance.

Requirements and Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you must have a proven track record of successful business development in debt syndication or related financial services.

You should have at least 10+ years of experience in managing the entire deal cycle of debt syndication projects, including structuring, negotiation, and execution.

Your skills should include strong financial modelling skills and proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant software.

You must also have excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Furthermore, you should be able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Your analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail are essential.

A professional certification such as CFA, CPA, or equivalent is a plus.
