We're seeking a skilled Product Owner to lead our newly established team focusing on Open Banking, PSD2 in Europe, and Open Finance.

This pivotal role involves leading analysis and design of innovative solutions that comply with regulatory frameworks and align with the strategic objectives of banking and financial clients.

  • Conduct detailed analyses of Open Banking regulations, interpreting and translating regulatory requirements into actionable business insights and solutions.
  • Produce comprehensive traceability matrices to ensure end-to-end compliance with regulation.
  • Engage stakeholders to identify and document the impact of regulatory changes on systems, processes, and workflows.
  • Support internal advocacy efforts by contributing to communications, regulatory insights, and compliance timelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support deep dives, impact assessments, and detailed requirement gathering.
  • Monitor regulatory developments to ensure timely and proactive responses to emerging compliance needs.
  • Stay updated with PSD2, PSD3, and other relevant regulations in open banking and open finance.
  • Undertake market research, collate feature recommendations from clients, and build a pipeline of requirements.
  • Identify market trends and opportunities in open banking and develop requirements for innovative products and services.
Requirements

The ideal candidate has:

  • 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in a regulatory environment, preferably within financial services.
  • Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a relevant field.
  • Experience with PSD2 and Berlin Group NextgenPSD2 or Open Banking UK is a must.
  • Regulatory interpretation, impact analysis, and traceability matrix creation skills.
  • Ability to map regulatory requirements to organizational systems.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, confident in interacting with senior executives and cross-functional teams.
  • Open Banking Frameworks knowledge and API integrations/implementation experience.
  • Understanding of clients' use cases and advising on suitable integration practices.
  • Full implementation cycle management, ensuring successful project launches.
  • Comfortable delivering technical presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
  • Verbal and written communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams.
