Job Title: Pod Leader

Job Description:

This exciting role involves overseeing projects related to BMS, HVAC systems, and automation. As a Pod Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of professionals to deliver best-in-class solutions that meet customer requirements.

  1. Analyze project inputs and specifications to capture project scope and understand all requirements.
  2. Review MEP drawings and specifications to identify necessary HVAC equipment, dampers, and sensors.
  3. Participate in project kick-off and review meetings, documenting technical queries, compliance deviations, risk logs, and minutes of meetings.
  4. Apply standard estimation processes and guidelines to select optimal combinations of hardware, software, equipment, materials, and services for an accurate budget proposal.
  5. Create detailed bills of material, including the selection of sensors, control valves, dampers, airflow stations, and controllers.
  6. Develop Building Automation System (BAS) network architecture, ensuring it meets project specifications.
  7. Maintain a rigorous quality assurance process to deliver defect-free outcomes and ensure timely project completions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • BE/ME (Electrical / Electronics / Electronics & Communication)
  • At least 15 years of relevant experience in BMS domain.
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics, or Electronics & Communication Engineering.
  • In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, including Chilled Water Systems, Cooling Towers, Primary & Secondary Pumping Systems, Hot Water Systems, and various types of Air Handling Units (AHUs), Fan Coil Units (FCUs), and Variable Air Volume (VAV) systems.
  • Strong understanding of BMS architecture, including different types of Operator Workstations, Supervisory Controllers, Direct Digital Controllers (DDC), Sensors, and Actuators.
