Technical Support Role

A technical support specialist at a leading technology company serves as the primary point of contact for customers regarding support issues and product queries. The role involves working with a variety of customers, ranging from small and mid-sized enterprises to large corporations.

The successful candidate will utilize their technical skills to troubleshoot complex problems, collaborate effectively with internal teams, and escalate issues as needed to deliver timely resolution for customers.

  • Interacting with customers via phone, email, and chat services to resolve support incidents
  • Contact and resolve customer issues within target service level agreements
  • Documenting customer incidents with troubleshooting, root cause, and resolution information
  • FOLLOWING INTERNAL PROCESSES, POLICIES AND GUIDELINES ON COLLABORATION, ESCALATION & COMMUNICATION
  • Contributing to the internal and external knowledge base for faster incident resolution

This position requires strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and a passion for technology. Additionally, candidates should be willing to work in high-visibility, high-pressure scenarios and adapt to rotational 24/7 support shifts as required.

Candidates with prior experience in product support roles, particularly those interacting with English-speaking customers over calls, emails, and chat, are preferred. Proficiency in using ticketing and tech support platforms such as Zendesk, Freshdesk, and Salesforce is also essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborating across teams to identify root causes of technical issues
  • Working closely with core engineering teams daily
  • Owning and driving technical issues through to resolution
  • Utilizing technical problem-solving methodologies
  • Effectively communicating technical details to diverse audiences
  • Maintaining strong organizational and time management skills
