**Job Title:** Technical Application Specialist

 

We are seeking a highly skilled technical professional to join our application monitoring team. As a Technical Application Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and availability of our applications.

 

Key Responsibilities:

    Proven experience with Dynatrace setup and configuration is essential for this role.

    Operational application management involves troubleshooting user issues and performing root cause analysis, identifying recurring issues, and ensuring long-term fixes.

    Setting up alarming for Dynatrace and Splunk for different applications requires expertise in defining and fine-tuning alerts, integrating Dynatrace alerts in incident management tooling, and understanding web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks.

    Analyzing and optimizing application code with respect to error handling and alerting is crucial for this position.

    Strong understanding of synthetic monitoring and alarm management, as well as experience with ServiceNow or similar IT service management tools, are also required.

    A problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and experience in a similar liaison role between application and platform teams are necessary skills for success in this role.

    Knowledge of ITIL practices and principles is also desired.
