Radio Access Network Engineer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Radio Access Network Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in wireless communication systems and expertise in radio access network design, deployment, and optimization.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive tests and validations of 5G RAN functionalities to ensure compliance with standards and requirements.
  • Define wireless coverage requirements and select radio solutions based on project needs.
  • Analyze and mitigate RAN network interference, perform dimensioning, link budget analysis, and coverage planning.
  • Assist customers in procuring private 5G spectrum and prepare bills of material (BoM) and bills of quantity (BoQ).
  • Stay up-to-date with various OEM solutions and showcase product offerings to customers.
  • Prepare technical proposals in response to tender/RFPs involving private mobile networks.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in radio access network engineering or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of wireless communication systems, including 5G RAN technologies.
  • Expertise in radio access network design, deployment, and optimization.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with internal teams and external stakeholders.
