Fiber Engineer Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced professional to support the deployment, testing, and quality assurance of high-speed fiber optic networks for enterprise and ISP clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation, splicing, termination, and testing of fiber optic cables to ensure network reliability.
  • Perform OTDR, power meter, and light source testing to guarantee network quality and identify potential issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of fiber routes, splicing details, and test reports to facilitate efficient troubleshooting and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with field teams, contractors, and customers during project execution to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Adhere to safety standards and project timelines to deliver high-quality results on time.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Diploma / B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Telecommunication, or related field.
  • At least 1–2 years of hands-on experience in fiber optic installation and maintenance.
  • Basic knowledge of fiber technologies (single mode, multi-mode).
  • Familiarity with fiber splicing machines, OTDR, and related tools.
  • Ability to work in field environments and travel to project sites as needed.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
