Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Fleet Support Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing 24-hour depot operations, coordinating train movements, and ensuring seamless coordination with internal teams and external partners.

As a Fleet Support Engineer, you will oversee the efficient daily management of depot resources, including optimizing space and operations within the depot. You will also coordinate train handovers, movements, and scheduling within the depot, providing real-time support and management for operational defects and troubleshooting issues as they arise.

You will submit timely reports and maintain regular communication with clients, ensuring their needs are met and any issues are promptly addressed. Additionally, you will lead projects that align with contractual and business objectives, optimizing fleet management and performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree in Engineering (or equivalent qualification)
  • Experience or understanding of maintenance planning within a rail environment
  • Knowledge of metro train systems and basic troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with IT tools such as SAP, MS Project, and Maximo
  • Certification in Project Management or related fields (preferred but not required)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Flexibility with working hours to ensure 24-hour coverage
