Operational Support Specialist Job Summary:

As an Operational Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation of our systems and processes. Your expertise in IT operational workflows will enable you to identify and resolve complex technical issues, improve system efficiency, and enhance overall customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide level 2/3 support for IT-related issues, leveraging your analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve problems efficiently
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements, optimizing system performance and reducing downtime
  • Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions and contribute to the development of best practices, ensuring that lessons learned are documented and applied across the organization
  • Assist in the planning and execution of projects, utilizing your technical expertise to drive successful outcomes

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in IT, with a strong focus on operational workflows and system administration
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment, communicating complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and ability to identify root causes of complex issues
  • Experience with multiple software applications, including Compete, Keystone/SimpleK, MD Staff, Omnigo, RL6/Converge, TMS (Accruent), Trane/TracerEnsemble, is highly desirable
