Job Title

The MES support specialist bridges the gap between IT and manufacturing, requiring a deep understanding of software systems and production processes to maintain efficiency, quality, and compliance in the manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities include troubleshooting technical issues, optimizing system performance, configuring MES solutions to meet production needs, and providing expert technical support and training to users.

  • Troubleshooting and Resolution:
    • Identify and resolve complex technical issues with the MES software and hardware to ensure uninterrupted production operations.
  • System Maintenance and Optimization:
    • Monitor system performance, implement updates, and make necessary adjustments to optimize the MES for maximum efficiency and quality.
  • Implementation and Configuration:
    • Assist in the implementation and configuration of new MES systems and integrate them seamlessly with other enterprise systems.
  • Data Management and Analysis:
    • Collect and analyze real-time data from the shop floor to identify bottlenecks, track production, and drive business decisions.
  • User Support and Training:
    • Provide expert technical assistance to production staff and develop comprehensive training materials to enhance their skills.
  • Documentation:
    • Create and maintain accurate technical documentation, including protocols, reports, and user guides, for the MES.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Ensure the MES supports quality management by tracking deviations and exceptions, contributing to improved quality control and assurance.
