Technical Project Manager
Job Description:
In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the execution of projects, ensuring seamless coordination with internal resources and third-party vendors. Your expertise will be instrumental in delivering projects on-time, within scope, and within budget.
You will develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility. Additionally, you will ensure resource availability and allocation, developing a detailed project plan to track progress.
Using appropriate verification techniques, you will manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs. You will also measure project performance using suitable systems, tools, and techniques.
With strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project and Microsoft Planner, you will excel in hands-on experience with project management tools like Basecamp or Trello. Agile methodologies, particularly scrum/kanban-based execution, will be your forte.
Hands-on experience with Jira is essential, as is ensuring consistent delivery quality across all streams of work. Reporting and escalating to management as needed will be your responsibility, along with managing relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Risk management to minimize project risks and establishing/maintaining relationships with third parties/vendors are key aspects of this role. Comprehensive project documentation will be created and maintained.
Requirements:
Our ideal candidate should possess a great educational background, preferably in computer science or engineering for technical project managers.
Proven working experience as a project administrator in the information technology sector is required. A solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies, is essential.
Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills are necessary, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills, are crucial. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office is mandatory.
PMP/PRINCE II certification is a plus, and having experience in any IAM system, especially SailPoint related product implementation and support, will be highly valued.
