Delivering exceptional technology leadership is crucial in our organization. As a Product and Technology Manager, you will oversee the smooth operation of Accounting and Finance platforms, ensuring they run efficiently and meet the requirements of the Finance business.

This role involves leading a team of Data Engineers, SREs, and Operations staff. You will be responsible for people management, delivery oversight, and operational excellence.

  • Team Leadership: Manage a team of engineers and operations staff, providing coaching, feedback, and career development support to help them grow professionally.
  • Delivery Oversight: Ensure that project deliverables and operational commitments are met on time with high quality and compliance, maintaining the highest standards.
  • Operational Management: Oversee the daily operation of Accounting and Finance systems, guaranteeing adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for availability, reliability, and data accuracy.
  • Incident & Problem Management: Effectively resolve incidents by coordinating root cause analysis and tracking corrective actions to minimize downtime.
  • Process Adherence: Ensure the team adheres to established engineering, SRE, and operational best practices, including code reviews, change management, monitoring, and compliance.
  • Resource Allocation: Assign tasks across the team, balancing project and operational demands to optimize productivity.
  • Reporting: Track and report on team progress, system performance, and operational metrics to senior leadership, providing actionable insights.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process automation, tooling improvements, and efficiency gains to enhance overall performance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 7-10 years of experience in technology roles, with 2–3 years in people management of engineering or operations teams.
  • Experience managing delivery of technical projects or supporting mission-critical systems.
  • Familiarity with financial systems, accounting platforms, or financial data pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of operational practices including incident, problem, and change management.
  • Solid communication and organizational skills with the ability to partner with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
