Strategic Initiatives Leadership Opportunity

We seek an exceptional visionary leader to spearhead the development and execution of a 36-month phased roadmap. As Director of Strategic Initiatives – Knowledge Networks, you will oversee complex projects, foster partnerships, and ensure timely delivery.

This high-visibility leadership role involves collaborating directly with the founder, executive team, event partners, and sponsors globally. You will be responsible for:

  • Portfolio Management: Prioritize initiatives based on impact, ROI, and strategic value, and maintain a clear, actionable 36-month roadmap.
  • Execution & Delivery: Lead cross-functional teams and vendors to execute initiatives, develop and manage budgets, timelines, and KPIs, and ensure timely launch.
  • Sponsorship & Revenue Enablement: Support sponsorship strategy by aligning initiatives with partner goals, and ensure deliverables for sponsors are met with excellence.
  • Team Leadership: Oversee initiative managers, consultants, and interns, establish clear goals, dashboards, and reporting systems, and ensure effective communication and stakeholder management.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in program management, strategic initiatives, or operations, ideally in AI, technology policy, or global nonprofits.
  • Proven track record in managing multi-million-dollar programs and complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of AI, governance, and emerging technologies, exceptional project management skills, and ability to juggle multiple initiatives.
  • Experience working with corporate sponsors, government partners, or international organizations, excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, and an entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently, adapt quickly, and take ownership of outcomes.
