As a Senior Engineering Manager, you will lead the design practice for retail convenience consumer technology in Bangalore. You will drive the vision, strategy, and execution of intuitive, scalable, and innovative design solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and execute the design vision and strategy for retail convenience consumer tech, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of UX/UI designers, researchers, and content professionals
  • Oversee the end-to-end design process, from research and ideation through prototyping, testing, and final implementation
  • Partner closely with product management, engineering, and business teams to deliver scalable and innovative design solutions
  • Champion user research and data-driven design, ensuring products meet and exceed customer expectations in convenience retail environments
  • Establish and enforce design best practices, accessibility standards, and brand guidelines
Requirements:
  • 12+ years of progressive experience in design, with at least 5 years in leadership or management roles
  • Demonstrated success in leading design teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions for retail, convenience, or consumer technology markets
  • Experience working closely with product and engineering teams in a collaborative environment
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of retail and consumer technology trends in the Bangalore/India market
