Retail Operations Lead Job Overview

At our organization, we are seeking a highly skilled Retail Operations Lead to oversee store operations and drive growth across Eastern India. With a legacy of curating premium sarees and traditional fashion since 1971, we prioritize excellence in customer satisfaction, brand standards, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the operations of multiple retail outlets across designated regions, ensuring adherence to brand standards and SOPs.
  • Lead, train, and motivate store managers and sales teams to achieve sales and service targets, driving business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Analyze store performance metrics and drive actionable insights to improve KPIs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies for growth.
  • Handle escalations, ensure customer satisfaction, and resolve operational issues promptly, maintaining high levels of customer service.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and merchandising teams for local promotions and seasonal campaigns, driving foot traffic and increasing sales.
  • Conduct regular audits and area visits to assess operational efficiency and compliance, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A graduate or postgraduate degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5-8 years of proven experience in apparel/fashion retail, managing multiple stores and driving business growth.
  • Comfortable with travel for store visits and audits, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
  • Proficiency in retail analytics and Microsoft Office, with excellent communication and leadership skills.
