Job Overview

  • The primary role of this position is to handle payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with labor laws and tax regulations.
  • This individual will be responsible for maintaining payroll records and employee data in HRIS/payroll systems, utilizing strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Collaboration with the HR team is essential for successful onboarding/offboarding, promotions, and other payroll-impacting changes, requiring confidentiality and integrity.
  • Duties include handling payroll deductions, benefits, garnishments, bonuses, and other compensation-related components, demonstrating excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • This person will prepare payroll reports for internal use and external audits, staying updated with changes in payroll laws and regulations.
  • Responsibilities also include responding to employee inquiries related to payroll, taxes, and earnings, providing accurate and timely information.
  • Collaboration with Finance is necessary to reconcile payroll-related accounts, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
  • Year-end activities such as tax form distribution (e.g., W-2, Form 16) require high levels of organization and efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills

  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
  • At least two years of payroll processing experience, with strong knowledge of payroll software and HRIS systems (e.g., ADP, SAP, Workday), is essential.
  • Familiarity with local labor laws and payroll compliance regulations, with the ability to adapt to changing regulatory environments, is necessary.
