Merchant Acquiring Professional

This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires an individual with strong analytical skills to identify, assess, and mitigate risk exposure in merchant acquiring. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing comprehensive risk control strategies and implementing policies that minimize financial and legal risks for clients.

The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of the financial services industry, including regulatory requirements, market trends, and compliance procedures. Excellent stakeholder management, project management, and collaboration skills are essential for this position.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Design and review risk policies for merchants based on client inputs, market best practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders, including risk, operations, and compliance teams.
  • Support clients in building and finalizing their risk strategies and policies.
  • Requirements:
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in writing, deploying, and managing merchant acquiring risk policies.
  • Strong knowledge of the financial services industry, including its governing regulations, reporting procedures, and record-keeping guidelines.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, project management, and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to understand current market trends and developments pertaining to risk management principles.
  • Experience working in a bank or payment aggregator firm or intermediary background.

Preferred Skillset: Policy writing, review, gap analysis, documentation, and reporting activities are highly valued.
