
Senior Strategic Business Developer

The Business Development Strategist will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to maximize market reach, drive growth, and increase market share in the small molecules space.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive strategic approaches and tactical plans to drive business success.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to create push and pull plans and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Monitor regulatory changes, market trends, and competition to stay ahead of the curve.
- Define and implement Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies to drive continuous growth and profitability.
- Be responsible for achieving and exceeding revenue targets for the small molecules business.
- Manage the pipeline and maintain accurate forecasting and reporting to ensure business growth is on track.
- Lead, develop, and implement training programs to build organizational capabilities and enhance team performance.
- Represent the organization at industry forums, regulatory bodies, and other key stakeholder events to build relationships and drive business growth.
- Work closely with the Corporate Communications team to design and run marketing communications initiatives to promote the small molecules business.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field such as Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or related fields.
- 15+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical excipients industry, in roles such as sales, business development, or strategic planning.
- Strong technical knowledge of excipient products and ability to provide techno-commercial support to the commercial team.
- Solid experience in shaping business strategy and executing plans in the small molecules space.
- Demonstrated ability to influence local and global stakeholders, including government authorities, on regulatory and policy-shaping topics.
- Excellent collaboration and relationship-building skills, with experience working across departments and regions.
- Strong strategic thinking capabilities, with ability to drive business growth and penetrate untapped markets.
- Self-driven and able to manage multi-faceted projects in a dynamic environment.
- Strong influencing skills and ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
