About the Role

As a Senior Labour Relations Executive, you will be responsible for coordinating with government departments to obtain necessary approvals and ensure compliance with labour laws. This includes working with local panchayats, fire and health departments, and other regulatory bodies.

Key Responsibilities

1. Ensure contractors obtain relevant licenses under contract labour and inter-state migrant acts, and guide them on requirements. Issue Forms V and V I as necessary. Follow up with contractors to submit these forms to the appropriate authorities.
2. Cover all contract labours under Employees Provident Fund (EPF), ensuring submission of proofs by contractors on EPF payments, attendance, and wage registers. Coordinate in preparing EPF statements for contractors and send reports to the designated personnel for remittance and documentation.

3. Maintain coverage of workmen under Workmen Compensation Policy for Contract Labour, follow up with contractors on policy renewal, and ensure timely submission of returns to the government under Factories Act 1948 and other related Acts.

4. Establish effective liaison with central labour department officials, inspectorate of factories, and EPF officials. Handle clarifications regarding HR MIS and dashboard submissions to the Chennai office and ensure accurate documentation.
