Internal Audit Specialist

As an Internal Audit Specialist, you will independently evaluate and improve risk management, internal controls, and governance processes across gold loan and financial operations.

Responsibilities
  1. Plan, execute, and report on internal audits covering operational, compliance, and financial processes.
  2. Assessing the adequacy and effectiveness of internal control systems.
  3. Identifying control weaknesses and suggesting improvements.
  • Reviewing cash flow, accounting, investments, and loan approvals/disbursements.
  • Verifying accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  • Reviewing revenue recognition, interest income, and provisioning policies.

You will also conduct concurrent audits of branches, gold loan operations, disbursals, and collections. Perform gold audits – valuation checks, purity verification, vault & custody audits. Ensure RBI regulatory compliance audits, including KYC, AML, Fair Practice Code, and reporting timelines.

Key Requirements:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or Post Graduate in Finance/Commerce.
  • 8–10 years of experience in internal audit within Banking/NBFC sector.
  • Proven expertise in concurrent audits, gold audits, and RBI audits.

A strong understanding of Banking /NBFC operations, gold loan processes, KYC/AML compliance, fraud detection, process reviews, and risk control assessments are required. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills are essential.

Strong ethics, integrity, and attention to detail are necessary for this role.
