As a senior electronics failure analysis engineer, you will play a key role in leading our team of technicians to analyze and troubleshoot complex industrial electronics products. Your expertise will be invaluable in developing and implementing effective methods for failure analysis and teardown.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough failure analysis of industrial electronics products, identifying root causes and providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop and implement standardized methods for failure analysis and teardown, ensuring consistency and efficiency throughout the lab.
  • Lead a team of FA technicians on various analyses, including elemental, metallurgical, non-destructive, thermal, and physical mechanical analyses of electronic components.
  • Improve the capabilities of our FA lab, focusing on 4M aspects such as manufacturing, maintenance, materials, and man-hours.
  • Participate in demonstrating failure analysis capabilities to customers, presenting analytical reports and findings.
  • Document new operating procedures, training, and certification specs for FA activities.
  • Collaborate with global teams to synergize FA activities, ensuring seamless integration and knowledge sharing.
  • Support RCAs and apply health and safety practices at the workplace.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electronics and Communication Engineering, or equivalent field.
  • At least 8 years of experience in a failure analysis role, preferably in a semiconductor domain.
  • Certificate-NSQF Level-4 in the semiconductor domain is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in thermal OBIRCH, PEM, and other FA techniques, including sample preparation, IC delayering, decapsulation, X-Ray, and basic circuit understanding.
  • Experience with electronic circuit analysis and product reliability growth demonstration testing is an added advantage.
